§ 1 Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter "T&C") govern the rights and obligations of the parties in the sale of goods through the online shop Stellar. The shop is intended exclusively for consumers aged 18 or over.
A consumer is any natural person who, when concluding and performing a consumer contract, does not act in the course of their business activity, profession, or employment.

§ 3 Conclusion of Contract
The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but an invitation to submit an order. By clicking the "Place order" button, the buyer submits a binding order for the goods contained in the shopping cart.
The purchase contract is concluded upon delivery of the seller's order confirmation to the buyer's email address. The contract is concluded in the Slovak language. The contract text is not stored by us in a form accessible to the buyer — we recommend retaining the confirmation email.
§ 4 Prices and Shipping Costs
All prices include statutory VAT. Shipping costs are a flat rate of EUR 6.90. For orders over EUR 50.00 we deliver free of shipping charges. Any additional costs are clearly indicated before the order is placed.
§ 5 Payment
Payment is processed through the payment service provider Stripe. The following payment methods are available:
- Payment card (Visa, Mastercard)
- SEPA direct debit
The purchase price is due upon submission of the order.
§ 6 Delivery
We deliver to the Slovak Republic, Austria, and Germany. The delivery time is usually 3–7 business days from confirmation of the order. Delivery is made to the address provided by the buyer in the order.
§ 7 Retention of Title
The goods remain the property of the seller until the full purchase price has been paid.
§ 8 Warranty and Complaints Procedure
This complaints procedure has been drawn up in accordance with Slovak Act No. 108/2024 Coll. on consumer protection and the Civil Code, and governs the submission and handling of complaints.
8.1 Warranty Period
The warranty period is 24 months and begins on the day the buyer takes possession of the goods. Warranty claims asserted after the expiry of this period lapse.
8.2 Submitting a Complaint
The buyer may submit a complaint:
- by email to: stellar@slachta.gallery,
- in writing to the seller's registered office address as set out in § 2.
When submitting a complaint, the buyer shall provide: the order number, a description of the defect, the preferred method of resolution, and, where applicable, photographic documentation (for obvious defects or transport damage).
If the goods arrive damaged in transit, the buyer must inform the seller without undue delay, at the latest within 48 hours of receipt.
8.3 Buyer's Rights in the Event of Defects
If the delivered goods are defective, the buyer is entitled to have the defect remedied by repair or replacement; the buyer may choose between the two remedies, provided the chosen method is not impossible or disproportionate compared with the other.
The buyer is entitled to a reasonable price reduction or to withdraw from the contract if:
- the seller has refused to remedy the defect or has failed to do so within a reasonable time,
- the defect occurs repeatedly,
- the defect constitutes a material breach of contract, or
- it is apparent from the seller's statement that the defect will not be remedied within a reasonable time or without significant inconvenience to the buyer.
Where a defect is minor and can be remedied by repair, no right of withdrawal arises.
8.4 Handling of the Complaint
The seller shall issue the buyer with confirmation of the receipt of the complaint without undue delay (in the case of email submission, at the latest together with the confirmation of resolution). The complaint, including remedy of the defect, shall be resolved no later than 30 days from its submission. After that period, the buyer has the same rights as if the defect were one that cannot be remedied.
The seller shall provide the buyer with a written record of how the complaint was handled no later than 30 days from the date of its submission.
8.5 Limitation of Warranty
The warranty does not cover defects caused by:
- improper handling, storage in unsuitable conditions (humidity, direct sunlight), or mechanical damage after receipt,
- normal wear and tear,
- the intervention of a third party.
§ 9 Right of Withdrawal
Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal under Slovak Act No. 102/2014 Coll. Details and the model withdrawal form can be found on the Right of Withdrawal page.
§ 10 Governing Law
Contractual relations are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which the consumer has their habitual residence remain unaffected.
§ 11 Supervisory Authority
Supervision over the seller's compliance with consumer obligations is carried out by:
Slovak Trade Inspection (SOI)

§ 12 Alternative Dispute Resolution
If the consumer is not satisfied with the handling of a complaint or considers that the seller has infringed their rights, they are entitled under Slovak Act No. 391/2015 Coll. to request redress from the seller. If the seller responds negatively or does not respond within 30 days, the consumer has the right to submit a proposal to commence alternative dispute resolution with:
